I have a few friends who have suggested boycotting "Madden 09" because Brett Favre was named cover athlete (it's a good idea, but really?). The only problem is there aren't too many other options out there for football games...until now!

Ok, so maybe the news isn't that great. I mean, Tecmo can't just walk out of my life for so many years...then come back...and then expect me to care?! Well, abandonment issues aside, the game will be availabe for Nintendo DS only. Other details are few and far between. So consider this a teaser. We don't even have a release date. 2008? 2009? Either way, "Tecmo Bowl" is coming back. Bo Jackson might be 45, but he's ready go.
